Jumping In!
Some things in life require little to no instruction. Sometimes, despite our fears, we just have to jump in. That's how I think of home schooling. Reading about how to do it and getting countless suggestions and advice from helpful friends and family doesn't always help to get started. The best thing to do when you decide to homeschool is just do it!
Now that doesn't mean we don't need advice. We all definitely do at any stage of our homeschooling lives. We can always find ways to improve, and we should always consider if we are meeting our children's needs as they progress and grow. What are your biggest lessons you learned about homeschooling? About your kids? About yourself? What advice would you give to someone considering homeschooling? To someone considering returning to public school?
Mistakes I've made homeschooling my kids...countless. Lessons I've learned along the way...priceless.
